WHEN MY MIND FORGETS TO SING

When my mind forgets to sing
It seems the end of everything
And all is deafened by the sound
of darkness gath'ring all around
In its silence as it draws
The day to close on ginger paws

Yet in the darkness, day is born
And from the silence hear the horn
Of all the world in revelry
Which brings with it the eyes to see
The cycles spinning round about
And working from the inside out

My mind learns how to sing once more
By list'ning to the inner roar
That breaks like waves upon the beach
Implementing self to teach
That I AM all there is to be
For all exists in sovereignty
