There is something I'd forgotten
On my journey through this life
There's more to me that lies beneath
The worries and the strife
Joy is my inheritance
The essence of my soul
Awaiting me to see I can be
Nothing less than whole
My mind rebels in fear
Threatening that my days are done
But there can be no separation
When my soul is one
It's but a shift of sight
