THY BODY

Thy body tho' beautiful to mine eyes
Holds there a secret which my heart belies
Love can't be held within mere walls of flesh
'Tis of the Spirit which transcends this mesh
Thus fears unfounded have past seen their day
How can an essence be taken away
When it dwells neither in time nor in space
But lives within itself at its own pace
Stretching forever on into my soul
There ever changing and yet always whole
And forming an integral part of my being
Of which nothing could possibly severe
'Tis of myself so I fear not its fleeing
Already I have loved you forever

MY SOUL IS GLADDENED

My soul is gladdened when it hears your name
My heart takes wing through sweetened fruits of love
My world is colored differently the same
I know that God smiles down from up above
I look upon the stars and see your face
A-sailing on the feathers of the swan
Where moon lit love can fill the empty space
And yet return upon the beckoned dawn
So now thru inspiration words can say
What lonely men were never meant to tell
Discovering another on the way
To where our hearts and souls were meant to dwell
My Princess to thee I'm eternal true
For all my life is centered around you
