THERE ARE NO WORDS TO THIS SONG

There are no words to this song
I don't know why I keep on singing
All you should hear right now
Are guitar strings ringing
There are no words to this song

I LOVE YOU IN THE SUMMER

I love you in the Summer,
In the Winter and the Fall,
But I will love you, darling,
In the Spring-time most of all
When your eyes reflect the sunshine,
Your face the glowing rays
I will love you, sweet heart,
For forever and three days

THE ELEVATOR POEMS

In college where I began dating my now ex-wife, there was an elevator up to the floor of her dorm. It was an old-fashioned elevator with a cage so that if one happened to stop between floors, one (hypothetically) could write poems on the exposed wall of the elevator shaft. Just sayin'...
*
Oh my darling I love you
So much so that it hurts
But be it so forever more
For it's hurt with which Love flirts
*
You are mine, my love so true
I ask not how or why
This love of ours should happen now
And last until we die
*
Yin-yang spins around so fast
Exchanging both its parts
Two existing in one love
A melding of the hearts

LADY OF SEATTLE (WAIT FOR ME)

1) You've got that look in your eyes
That keeps me hangin' on
I longed to hold you close
But I turned and you were gone

2) The miles spread out between us
And separate us for awhile
But soon we'll be together once more
And I'll look upon your smile

c) I'll wait for you, forever if need be
Lady of Seattle wait for me

3) Til I'm in your arms again
And taste your kisses true
No matter what else happens to me
I'll only think of you

A GIRL LIKE YOU

1) Who knows what tomorrow brings?
Pickup trucks and guitar strings
And love songs written for you

2) So hold me close tonight
Sittin' here by the firelight
There's nothin' around but us two

C) I've been waiting all my life for a girl like you
Now I found you and my life becomes whole
You're on my mind and I'm no longer blue
You have pierced my very soul

3) I'm your cowboy, yes ma'am!
And I don't really give a damn
What the world wants us to do

4) Just stay here by my side
You are my joy and pride
Together we'll make it through

So hold me close tonight
Sittin' here by the firelight
There's nothin' around but us two
And I love you
Yes I love you
Mm-mm-hmm-mm-mm

TEENAGE URBAN COWBOY BLUES

1) I live through life with people who think that I am strange
Just because I'm different and 'cause I'll never change
They just don't understand me and that's what makes me blue
I'm just a lonesome cowboy with a different point of view

C) These Teenage Urban Cowboy Blues
I wear boots instead of shoes
It ain't easy win or lose
To sing these Teenage Urban Cowboy Blues

2) They say I'm s'pose to listen to this junk that they call rock
Just because I'm 18 I should follow the flock
Well, I ain't gonna do it and that's what makes me cry
I'm just a lonesome cowboy who is trying to get by

3) Why I'd rather go to Nashville or watch a country show
Is something that they will never, ever know
They just don't understand me and that's what makes me sad
I'm just a lonesome cowboy grasping all I've ever had
