THE ELEVATOR POEMS

In college where I began dating my now ex-wife, there was an elevator up to the floor of her dorm. It was an old-fashioned elevator with a cage so that if one happened to stop between floors, one (hypothetically) could write poems on the exposed wall of the elevator shaft. Just sayin'...
*
Oh my darling I love you
So much so that it hurts
But be it so forever more
For it's hurt with which Love flirts
*
You are mine, my love so true
I ask not how or why
This love of ours should happen now
And last until we die
*
Yin-yang spins around so fast
Exchanging both its parts
Two existing in one love
A melding of the hearts
